The swim meet results data that we present is obtained from
organizations that sanction the swim meets (such as the LSC Pacific
Swimming) or from organizations that host or participate in the swim
meets (such as summer league clubs.) In order to sort or organize the
data we obtain, we may ask these providers of swim meet results to
also provide personal information about the swimmers including name,
sex, and date of birth.
The membership information that we collect comes directly from your
membership registration. We collect four pieces (and sometimes five)
of personal information (first name, last name, email address, and
whether or not the registrant is 12 and under, and the email address
of the parents if the member is 12 or under) and a set of personal
preferences (username, password, team to affiliate with, member
category such as parent or swimmer, which swimmers to report, and
which reports are desired) that allow us to make our member services
function properly.
To process Online Meet Entries, we collect the name, the email address, and
the credit card billing address of the person paying for the meet entries.
On a secure page, we collect the credit card number and send it to our
merchant card processor for processing. We do not store any credit card
numbers on our servers.
